As a QA Engineer, you will be our expert in quality assurance and testing practices. This role requires a proactive individual to lead testing initiatives, develop test strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application quality and performance.

What you’ll be doing

• Serving as the subject matter expert for QA and testing practices.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and test cases for web and backend systems.
• Ensuring comprehensive testing coverage and reviewing test requirements for completeness.
• Working with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define testing needs and use cases.
• Executing tests, reporting issues, and collaborating with development teams to resolve bugs.
• Maintaining documentation for test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Utilising AWS technologies for automation and integration as needed.

To be successful in this role you’ll have :

• 3-5 years of proven QA engineering experience, focusing on automation testing.
• Experience designing and executing test cases for backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and tools for automated testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into development workflows.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and report complex issues effectively.
