Business Analyst (Emr Experienced)

Milestone IT is partnering with a leading healthcare provider to find an experienced Business Analyst with a focus on Electronic Medical Records (EMR) . Key Responsibilities :

• Business Process Analysis : Investigate and document current business workflows, specifically related to EMR systems, healthcare operations, and patient data management.
• Workflow Optimization : Identify areas for improvement within existing workflows, focusing on workflow triggers, transactions, and EMR-related processes.
• Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to understand business needs, translating these into functional requirements for IT solutions.
• Documentation : Develop detailed business and technical documentation, including current-state workflows, process maps, and recommendations for optimization.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with stakeholders across IT, clinical departments, and management to ensure solutions align with both business goals and regulatory standards.
• Problem Solving : Identify process inefficiencies and suggest actionable solutions to improve productivity and reduce errors.

Required Qualifications :

• Experience : Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare or health IT sector, specifically with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Knowledge : Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, data flow, and the impact of EMR systems on clinical operations. Familiarity with workflow triggers and transactions is essential.
• Skills : Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex business processes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
