They are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in unpacking automation initiatives and building a robust investment pack for senior management decision-making.
About the Role:
As the Business Analyst - Automation & Investment Planning, you will be instrumental in translating high-level automation concepts from a recent consulting engagement into detailed, actionable plans. You will work closely with the Business Improvement BA to quantify benefits, develop financial models, and create compelling business cases to secure investment for critical automation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Unpacking: Thoroughly analyse and detail automation initiatives identified in recent consulting reports. Conduct in-depth workshops and interviews to gather detailed requirements. Document and map current and future state processes related to automation.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research, industry analysis, and internal data analysis to support automation initiatives. Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to assess feasibility and impact of proposed solutions. Identify potential opportunities and risks associated with automation projects. Develop detailed financial models to evaluate costs, benefits, and ROI of automation options. Construct comprehensive business cases that clearly articulate problem statements, proposed solutions, and expected benefits. Quantify and build out investment packs for business decision.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to gather input, validate assumptions, and build consensus. Develop and deliver visually compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings and recommendations. Present business cases to senior management, addressing questions and concerns. Provide ongoing support throughout the decision-making process.
