Tasks
- Working closely with the CFO and clients, you will be responsible for delivering high quality financial reporting and providing critical insights to influence commercial outcomes.
- Assisting in the preparation of the monthly accounts
- Ad hoc analysis and projects
- BAS, Payroll, End of Month Accounts, Bank recs, and general Bookkeeping.
- Client and practice bookkeeping tasks.
- Accounts Receivables and Payables
- Preparation and completion of Business Activity Statements.
- Produce financial reports using Xero
- End to end payroll processing
Requirements
- The successful applicant will hold a qualification in bookkeeping or accounting and have sound experience in a complex commercial organisation.
- Your interpersonal and communication skills should be good, allowing you to portray confidence in delivery of your reports and in the development of strong professional relationships with those within and outside of the finance team.
- Youâll be an effective communicator enabling you to follow up with customers on a regular basis.
- Youâll have a great attention to detail and are very effective in taking and following instructions.
- Youâll be willing to learn to grow your own knowledge and experience while contributing to the organisation.
As a minimum, you have:
- Bookkeeping: 3 years (Required)
- Advanced Xero skills: 2 - 3 years (Required)
- Hands on experience with accounts receivables and basic collections activity
- Advanced Excel, Microsoft Office skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
