Our client is a boutique Australian equities investment firm with a strong track record for delivering superior returns for their investors. We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join their team in Melbourne. As an integral part of the investment team, the Investment Analyst will play a vital role in identifying and analysing investment opportunities in the Australian equities market.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough research
  • Financial modelling
  • Due diligence

Sectors of interest would be those cyclicals such as consumer, industrials as well as TMT. Candidates who possess 2-5 years of experience in a similar investments role are preferred.

You will bring previous buy-side experience from Australian equities, a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (with advanced degrees like CFA or MBA being advantageous). You will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques, and advanced Excel skills.
