This full-time role sits at the heart of Gartland’s Commercial Property Management team and offers a compelling pathway for a switched-on property professional looking to grow their career. You’ll be responsible for providing administrative and operational support across a diverse commercial portfolio. From arrears management and inspections to lease administration, ESM compliance and tenant communications, your contribution will help ensure smooth portfolio performance and strong client service.

Duties will include:

  • Communicating with tenants and landlords regarding inspections, arrears, lease renewals and rent reviews
  • Updating lease, property and tenant data in Re-Leased and issuing time-sensitive documentation
  • Coordinating maintenance works and liaising with contractors, council authorities and utilities
  • Supporting compliance processes including Essential Safety Measures and other regulatory requirements
  • Attending inspections and preparing follow-up reports
  • Assisting with document audits, insurance registers, welcome packs and tenancy onboarding
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the commercial team and contributing to operational improvements

Structured training and onboarding will be provided, and while this role is offered full-time, part-time arrangements may be considered for the right person.

  • A current Agent’s Representative Certificate or Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (required)
  • Understanding of commercial leasing or the Retail Leases Act will be highly regarded
