Job Details:Senior Finance & Operations Officer
Working Hours: Full-Time (Standard Monday - Friday Office Hours with occasional evening or weekend work)
The Senior Finance and Operations Officer plays a key role in supporting the smooth and effective running of Bury VCFA’s finance and operational functions. Working closely with the Chief Officer, the postholder will take responsibility for day-to-day financial processes and operational administration. This role provides an important bridge between strategic oversight and operational delivery, ensuring high standards of financial accuracy, compliance, and organisational support.
We are looking for a highly organised and financially confident individual with strong attention to detail and experience working in a busy office or finance environment. You will be comfortable supervising staff, managing competing priorities, and working collaboratively across teams. You will be someone who:
- Has solid experience in finance administration and operational support
- Is confident supporting budgeting, monitoring, and financial reporting processes
- Has experience maintaining a safe, compliant and effective working environment for staff, tenants and visitors.
- Has strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Is committed to Bury VCFA’s values and mission

- 5% Pension Contribution
- 22 Days annual leave + 3 concessionary days + bank holidays
