Overview
Bury Grammar School is proud of its IT infrastructure and software developments that support the school and its community. The IT infrastructure is spread across several sites linked by fibre connectivity with a single domain providing a secure environment for users to login from school or home. We are a Microsoft school using Office365 and pupils have a Microsoft Device.
The Post
We are recruiting for a skilled IT Technician or recent graduate to join our outward-looking and high achieving IT Services Team. Under the supervision of two Deputy IT Managers and two Senior IT Technicians, the IT Technician will install and support personal computers and network operations; provide hardware and software planning and evaluation; provide problem solving and training for end users; and ensure system efficiency and integrity.

Employment Details
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4:30pm. The role is within our corporate services and the candidate will be expected to work all year round including term-time holidays.
