About the role
We are seeking a conscientious, hardworking teaching assistant (level 2) for Millwood School, an inclusive special education provider dedicated to children with significant additional educational needs.
Millwood School is set in a spacious, state‑of‑the‑art facility that includes a hydrotherapy pool, specialist play and therapy equipment, and extensive grounds.
Responsibilities
- Be warm, supportive, resilient and nurturing, demonstrating unconditional positive regard to all pupils.
- Be hardworking, organised and creative.
- Commit to creating a safe and fun learning environment.
- Work across the school as part of a team, under the guidance of the classroom teacher, to implement agreed programmes of study, therapy programmes and individual behaviour plans.

Requirements
Applicants must have a satisfactory enhanced DBS check, barred list check, two references, an occupational health report and the right to work in the UK. The appointment may be subject to an online background search in line with KCSIE 2025.
