The Collective Community Trust is a relatively newly formed Trust responsible for seven primary schools. As a Trust, we are committed to providing high quality support services to support all of our schools within the Trust.
An exciting opportunity for an inspirational teaching assistant has arisen at Heaton Park Primary School. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated individual to join our caring, committed team of professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to nurturing young minds and making a positive impact on children’s learning and development.
You will be responsible for supporting pupils, teachers, and the wider school community. You will work closely with children individually and in groups to ensure they feel safe, included, and inspired to learn.
Heaton Park is a vibrant, popular, inclusive and diverse school which is proud of its wonderful children, positive relationships with parents and outdoor learning facilities. The school was judged Good by Ofsted in November 2022.
You will:
- Provide tailored support to pupils, including those with special educational needs.
- Build positive, nurturing relationships that support children’s individual needs.
- Provide administrative support (e.g. photocopying, filing, displays).
- Assist in creating engaging teaching materials and classroom displays.
- Share feedback on pupil progress, achievements, and any concerns.
- Promote positive behaviour and support conflict resolution.
- Work collaboratively within a team and build relationships with parents/carers.
- Contribute to the school’s ethos and wider development.
