If so, we want to hear from you .We welcome applications from qualified lawyers with Court of Protection experience who may want to take the next step to becoming a senior adult social care lawyer. You would be supported by a dedicated legal officer working within a fully supported legal service with excellent client department focused on improving lives for Bury’s residents.
This is an exciting time to be joining Bury Council; a growing council and an equally growing legal services team playing a vital role in supporting the council\’s vision for the borough.
What you\’ll be doing
As a senior adult social care lawyer, you will play a key role in advising on the broad range of matters involving vulnerable adults including Court of Protection matters including complex work and you will also play a key role in supporting adult social care colleagues. You will also have the opportunity to provide significant input to the development and implementation of our legal compliance policies and procedures. You will work closely with the Head of Social Care Legal Team to ensure excellent practice.
