We are seeking to appoint to the post of Head of Design and Technology a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher who is an excellent classroom practitioner to take responsibility for leading a successful Technology Department comprising Design & Technology and Engineering. This role is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, innovative, determined and outstanding practitioner who can bring energy and vision to the development of the Technology Department.
The Derby High School is the highest performing school in Bury, Greater Manchester and has sustained this position for a number of years. We are passionate about delivering a high-quality and engaging curriculum and aspire to be a beacon of practice in the Technologies subjects. We are an over-subscribed 11-16 co-educational school situated in the heart of Bury, Greater Manchester. Year on year our students make exceptional progress and we are currently the highest performing school in Bury for Progress 8.
