About the role

An exciting opportunity to be part of Springside Primary School, an expanding school in Bury. As a Cook Supervisor you will be customer‑focussed, motivate and lead a team in a busy Primary School environment. Your responsibilities will include cooking and organising the catering service, providing a healthy school lunch that meets the Government’s nutrient‑based standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Supervisory experience within a catering environment essential.
  • Possession of a City & Guilds 706 or NVQ2 and a current basic hygiene certificate is required.
  • High standard of food presentation and hygiene expected.
  • Ability to work to deadlines, adapt to change and maintain flexibility.

Additional Requirements

DBS Check: This post requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. You will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check (£49.50) which will be deducted from your salary at £12.38 per month over four months. If you do not commence employment after the DBS has been processed, a £49.50 invoice will be sent.
