Required for September 2026, Mersey Drive Community Primary School is a nurturing and highly inclusive mainstream primary school, with additional resource provision for pupils with a diagnosis of Autism. We are looking to appoint a dedicated, motivated and caring practitioner to join our Resource Provision team within The Hive. The successful candidate will be committed to supporting pupils with Autism to thrive both within the provision and across the wider school environment.

Candidate Profile

  • Has recent and relevant experience of supporting pupils within a primary school setting
  • Has a good understanding of strategies and interventions to support pupils with Autism and additional needs
  • Has a positive outlook and is highly motivated, adaptable and flexible
  • Has a calm, nurturing and supportive approach
  • Is able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to the wider school community
  • Is committed to inclusive practice and high expectations for all pupils
  • Is open to ongoing professional development and training
