Bury Council’s Family Support Worker role is a fixed-term position of 12 months within the Kinship Support Team.

The post involves 37 hours per week with occasional evenings or weekends, providing practical and emotional support to Special Guardians, kinship carers, children and young people.

Successful candidates will work in homes, schools and community settings, delivering one-to-one support, family sessions and trauma-informed guidance.
