Responsibilities

  • Deal with telephone, email, and face‑to‑face enquiries from members of the public across a range of services provided by the Council.
  • Update and access various council systems and process Blue Badges whilst ensuring customer enquiries are completed at the first point of contact, reducing the need for repeat contacts.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a busy, customer‐focused environment.
  • Excellent customer care skills.
  • Excellent keyboard, listening, and questioning skills.

Working Hours

Normal hours of work are Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00, 35 hours per week. A restricted flexi‑scheme is in place subject to service demands.
