Bury Leisure is looking to recruit 5 candidates to work as Concierge Assistant on a permanent basis with 3 positions on a rota pattern including evenings and weekends and 2 annualised hours contracts to cover when required. Rota's and working locations to be confirmed for all roles.

As a Concierge Assistant for Bury Council Leisure, you’ll be the welcoming heartbeat of the facility, the person who sets the tone for every customer’s visit from the very first moment they arrive. This is an exciting and forward‑thinking role at the cutting edge of how modern leisure services operate. You’ll play a central part in Bury Council’s transformation to a fully digital, online leisure service, helping customers navigate new booking systems, self‑service kiosks, digital memberships and online platforms with confidence and ease.

  • Confidence in the use of online technology and digital systems.
  • Ability to pass on information clearly and concisely to customers of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with diplomacy and empathy.
