Bury Council is looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to provide system leadership for addressing Domestic Abuse in the Borough. The role is a core part of the Strategic Partnerships' Function and will be central to developing, managing and implementing Bury's approach to Domestic Abuse, which is a Community Safety and Safeguarding Partnership priority.

This engaging role will involve co-ordinating and developing multi-agency responses to the prevention and earlier intervention on Domestic Abuse, in the context of national legislation, local strategy and wider determinants of safety. The role includes strategy development, stakeholder management, contract and commissioning management, co-production including survivor voice and assurance activity related to Domestic Abuse Related Death Reviews.

The Council is seeking professionals with a passion for improving outcomes, strong governance and embedding learning practices with demonstrable skills, knowledge and experience relating to work on domestic abuse. Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week. The role is hybrid with an expectation of being present within Bury Town Centre on average 2-3 days per week around business activity including Partnership meetings and Boards.
