We are a warm, friendly family dental practice located in Heywood providing dental needs. We are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our patients whilst delivering a caring, effective service. Established by principal dentist Dr Vijay Tailor in November 2017, we offer NHS dental treatment, our flagship Denplan membership scheme, hygienist services, cosmetic dental and facial treatments, Invisalign orthodontic treatment, and implants sedation for nervous patients. Our experienced friendly team are able to guide you through your treatment journey, giving you confidence to feel at ease with your smile.
About the vacancy:

- An exciting opportunity for an apprentice to complete the L3 Dental.
- We are looking for an enthusiastic dental nurse; full training will be given.
This is an exciting role for an enthusiastic and able individual to train as a Dental Nurse. You will be completing a wide range of duties involved with assisting the Dentist in the care of customers. These will include:
- Chairside assistance – passing instruments to the dentist
- Updating patient records as instructed by the dentist
- Setting up and preparing the surgery
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control
- Following all workplace policies and procedures
- Performing a receptionist service to customers, booking appointments and welcoming patients
You will receive the following training: This is a work-based qualification with weekly timetabled classes.

Qualifications:
- Essential: English (GCSE - C/4 or above or equivalent)

Outcome: Subject to a successful apprenticeship, you may be offered employment by the dental practice on a permanent basis. The starting salary is £15,311.40 a year for 39 hours. Shifts TBC between Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8.45am - 5.45pm, Wednesday 8.45am - 7.15pm, Friday 8.45am - 4.15pm. The apprenticeship will run for 1 Year 9 Months.
