We are a busy GP practice providing healthcare services to almost 10,000 patients in the local area of Bury. We are a CQC registered provider and have attained a Good rating in 2025. We have accreditation for a veteran friendly practice and have recently attained a Gold award for Pride in Practice. Our patient satisfaction rates are good and we are proud of our excellent customer services which we provide to all our patients.
About the vacancy:
- Immediate start.
- We are looking to invest in an Apprentice who wants to progress and grow in a company that offers excellent long-term career progression, is willing to learn and is customer focused.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting patients making appointments, and ordering prescriptions both face to face and on the telephone.
- Signposting patients to relevant services and other Healthcare professionals.
- Attend monthly practice meetings and provide minutes and agendas in advance of meetings.
- Carry out target work, staff rotas with the support of TL and PM providing admin support to both.
- Carry out telephone & access audits.
- Support Team members, medical students and all other HCPs in the practice.
- Carry out practice website and Facebook updates.
- Photocopy, scan medical notes, records management.
- Carry out stock orders and room allocation rotas.
You will receive the following training:
- This qualification requires College attendance once per month.
- Additional college attendance may be required for functional skills.

Outcome:
This will give the right candidate an opportunity to work within a primary care setting after full training. We are offering the right person who is a proven team member, a long-term career and a permanent position within the company upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
The starting salary is £15,600 a year for 37.5 hours Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm. The apprenticeship will run for 1 Year 4 Months.
