Care & Support Workers £13.75 per hour rising to £13.85 after successful completion of training and probation period. 26 hours per week 27.5 hours per week.

About you

You don’t need to have previous experience of working in social care, what’s important is that you are caring, a good communicator, patient, creative, able to work on your own initiative, show empathy and also work as part of a team. Most of all we are looking for someone who shares our values. Flexibility is important as you will work on a rota basis. The rota includes a mix of shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

About the role

You will be based in our short stay service, where we support older people at Elmhurst and adults with a learning disability at Woodbury. You will support people with everyday tasks, including supporting people to get out of bed and get dressed, support with eating meals, taking part in a range of activities and supporting people with bathing and other personal care needs.
