About the Role
As a Support Worker within LDDS, you will play a vital role in empowering adults with learning disabilities to live life to the fullest.
You will work as part of a friendly and supportive team, helping people to:
- Achieve their personal goals and aspirations
- Develop confidence, independence and life skills
- Access their local communities
- Participate in meaningful activities and opportunities
- Build friendships and relationships
- Maintain their health and wellbeing
- Make choices and have control over their lives
- Enjoy safe, rewarding and engaging experiences
About You
You don't need previous experience in social care. What's most important is that you:
- Share our values and dignity and inclusion
- Enjoy working with people
- Have good communication skills
- Are reliable and adaptable
- Can work on your own initiative and as part of a team
- Are enthusiastic about helping people achieve their goals
- Bring energy, creativity and a willingness to learn
