About the Role

As a Domestic Assistant, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.
This role involves working closely with clients to support their living space and overall wellbeing.
We are currently looking for 2 Domestic Assistants
- 17 hours per week, varied shift patterns
- 37 hours per week, varied shift patterns
Key Responsibilities
- To maintain a clean, safe welcoming environment in accordance with hygiene, infection control and health and safety.
- Follow colour-coding systems to prevent cross-contamination
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and correctly, following COSHH guidance.
- Work closely with our clients to promote comfort, dignity and well-being.
- Cleaning clients' rooms, communal areas, bathrooms and lounges, ensuring all equipment and materials are safely stored and maintained.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report low stock levels
About You
We're looking for someone who
- Has previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role
- Is willing to undertake mandatory training.
- Understands safe cleaning practises and cleaning materials
- Can work independently with a positive attitude and can manage time effectively
- Has a good attention to detail and a high standard of cleaning
- Communicates well with staff and residents and has strong team-working skills
- Demonstrates initiative and pride in their work
- Can follow instructions and maintain confidentiality
