The Café at the Live Well Centre in Whitefield is open Monday – Friday – 9:30am – 2:30pm, with a slightly earlier start and later finish to support opening and closing of service.
About you
- You will be a great communicator with excellent customer service skills.
- You should have previous experience working in a café environment, or be comfortable taking on the role.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills are required for stock rotation and ordering.
- A Level 2 food hygiene qualification is advantageous.
- We expect someone who shares our workplace values, is comfortable overseeing the café team, and can ensure compliance with quality standards.
About the role
- You will ensure the efficient day to day running of the café.
- This includes working with and overseeing the café assistants and volunteers to provide a warm welcome to visitors, offer hot and cold drinks and snacks, and embed the five Persona values (Respectful, Enthusiastic, Adaptable, Caring, Honest) into everything you do.
- You will prepare a range of hot and cold meals, bake cakes, and make hot and cold drinks.
- You will also perform stock rotation and ordering, maintain basic numeracy and literacy, and uphold safety and quality standards.
A DBS check is required for this role.
