We are looking to recruit a fixed term salaried GP for maternity leave to cover 4 sessions per week (Wednesday and Friday).
Main duties of the job:
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver safe and high-quality care.
- Delivery of care in line with NICE guidelines and evidence-based care.
- Triage and treat patients, performing specialist assessment of their needs and make referrals as necessary to other members of the primary and secondary health care teams as appropriate.

Situated within easy reach of Cambridge and the A14, Burwell has plenty of facilities to serve the local residents and has a real sense of community. The premises offer plenty of on-site parking for staff. At Burwell Surgery we pride ourselves in being a happy and friendly place to work, with plenty of support. A GMS practice with 9,600 patients, we receive excellent Patient Survey results and have a high QOF achievement. We are a member of Cambridge GP Federation, Central East ICB and South Ely PCN.
We are a SystmOne practice with an excellent Admin and Nursing Team, Advanced Paramedic Practitioner, First Contact Physiotherapist, Clinical Pharmacist, Social prescriber and Health Coaches. We are a Research active practice and as a Training practice we offer a range of training for both Medical Students and GP Registrars.
