Mobile Commercial HVAC Engineer

Role Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Commercial HVAC Engineer. As part of the mobile engineering team, responsible for HVAC & Mechanical plant within a diverse portfolio of buildings serving many types of clients. .

Tasked with ensuring we meet our contractual, H&S, and legal compliance obligations, you will be responsible for covering emergency callouts, installation work and planned preventative maintenance.

40-hour week, Monday to Friday with additional overtime as agreed with the Service Centre.

To be available for working \’out of normal hours\’, weekends and callouts, if required.

Location

Predominately, working throughout Norwich & Cambridgeshire, but may be required to assist in other parts of East Anglia as necessary.

Necessary Skills & Experience

• Have a good all-round knowledge of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems
• Service & repair of mechanical plant, pumps, heating and cooling systems
• Ensure that Planned Preventative maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment, and systems to meet relevant regulations (Gassafe, Fgas etc.) and agreed service level agreements
• Respond to emergency callouts when required and carry out the necessary remedial works to achieve a first-time fix
• Pipework and plumbing repairs
• Mechanical Ventilation/AHU system repairs
• Fan coil unit and Fan convector service and repairs
• General building services repairs
• Assisting and supervising sub-contractors
• Good housekeeping and accurate and prompt paperwork returns
• Good interpersonal & communication skills. A flexible approach to the work/ clients\’ requirements and be prepared to work out of hours when required
• Work at heights using steps, ladders, scaffold, and powered access
• Carry out hot works in line with BML hot works policy (where required)
• UK driving licence
