Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join our dynamic team in our Pembury (Tunbridge Wells) office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our conveyancing department, assisting with various administrative tasks related to property transactions. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their career in the legal field, particularly in property law. Please note that this is an office-based role; to be considered for this role candidates will need to be able to commute to Pembury. Responsibilities * Assist conveyancers in preparing and processing legal documents related to property transactions. * Conduct property searches and gather relevant information for clients. * Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction to ensure smooth communication. * Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring all documentation is organised and up to date. * Handle client inquiries and provide excellent customer service throughout the conveyancing process. * Support the team in managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Skills * Previous experience in a legal environment or knowledge of conveyancing processes. * Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are essential. * Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues. * Proficiency in using office software, including word processing and spreadsheet applications. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
