FBC UK was a match made in heaven, with two of the top UK biscuits manufacturers (Burton's Biscuits and Fox's Biscuits) coming together to create one unique, integrated company. What does your typical day look like?
- Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off. 7pm - 7am.
- Responsible for delivery of the site production plan, whilst ensuring our people are kept safe, well and competent.
- Support a continuous improvement culture that results in high performance.
- Monitor our safety ways of working to improve the safety & wellbeing of our colleagues.
- Assist the FLM to attain Delivery of financial budget aligned with the delivery of KPI’s (waste, TOS, efficiency, planned tonnage).
- Role model and winning behaviours to support site culture.
- Be conversant with all relevant company policies and procedures.
- Support, motivate, and coach the team.
- Complete all relevant paperwork for compliance.
- Attend SIC’s, huddles to communicate daily operation performance.
- Liaise with Engineering/Process departments as necessary.
- Ensure training is up to date for your colleagues.
- Monitor all aspects of production to maintain maximum efficiencies and report any issues to FLM’s.
- Support/Step-up to the position of FLM, as required.
What are the key ingredients needed for the role?
- Proven experience of leading an operations area.
- Driving performance of a team to improve overall site performance.
- Ideally 2 Years’ experience in Manufacturing.
