Position Overview

Join a dedicated team that prioritises eco-friendly practices and efficient waste management. As a Waste Loader and Machinery Operator, you will be at the forefront of our refuse vehicle operations, ensuring the seamless collection and transport of waste materials.

Tuesday to Friday, 6:45 – 17:30

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficient Waste Collection:
    Load and transport waste materials using refuse vehicles, ensuring all collections are performed with precision and in line with scheduled operations. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sustainability of the community.
  • Machinery Operation:
    Operate machinery on the refuse vehicle safely and efficiently. Adhere to all operational guidelines and ensure machinery is used optimally for effective waste management.
  • Safety Compliance:
    Follow strict health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
  • Team Collaboration:
    Work closely with your team to achieve daily targets. Your ability to collaborate will be crucial in meeting the high standards expected by our client.

Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance

Conduct regular checks and basic maintenance on vehicles and machinery. Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and report any malfunctions promptly.

Route Management

Assist in planning efficient collection routes to maximise productivity and minimise environmental impact. Be adaptive to changes in routes or schedules to meet objectives effectively.
