A newly created Property Manager role taking ownership of a substantial residential and commercial property portfolio held by a private investor. Reporting in at a senior level, this is a hands-on, end-to-end role for someone who can manage compliance, maintenance, tenant relationships, and disposals across a multi-property estate.
The Role
- Take ownership of a portfolio of residential and commercial properties, alongside a small short-let operation.
- Manage all compliance and statutory obligations, including safety certification cycles and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate maintenance across the portfolio, working with trusted contractors and managing service standards.
- Oversee renewals and lease management on the commercial estate.
- Manage the tenant relationship professionally, providing the buffer between renter and landlord, supported by external agents where appropriate.
- Lead refurbishment and sale of residential properties as they come out of tenancy, including involvement in the sales process itself.
The Ideal Candidate
- You will have a strong background in estate agency or property management, ideally with exposure to both residential and commercial stock.
- You will have working knowledge of landlord compliance obligations and the regulatory cycles that sit alongside them.
- You will be confident coordinating maintenance contractors and holding them to standard across multiple properties at once.
- You will have direct experience of residential sales, ideally with refurbishment-to-sale exposure.
- You will be a self-starter, commercially minded, and comfortable presenting recommendations clearly to a principal.
