The Opportunity

A newly created Property Manager role taking ownership of a substantial residential and commercial property portfolio held by a private investor. Reporting in at a senior level, this is a hands-on, end-to-end role for someone who can manage compliance, maintenance, tenant relationships, and disposals across a multi-property estate.

The Role

  • Take ownership of a portfolio of residential and commercial properties, alongside a small short-let operation.
  • Manage all compliance and statutory obligations, including safety certification cycles and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate maintenance across the portfolio, working with trusted contractors and managing service standards.
  • Oversee renewals and lease management on the commercial estate.
  • Manage the tenant relationship professionally, providing the buffer between renter and landlord, supported by external agents where appropriate.
  • Lead refurbishment and sale of residential properties as they come out of tenancy, including involvement in the sales process itself.

The Ideal Candidate

  • You will have a strong background in estate agency or property management, ideally with exposure to both residential and commercial stock.
  • You will have working knowledge of landlord compliance obligations and the regulatory cycles that sit alongside them.
  • You will be confident coordinating maintenance contractors and holding them to standard across multiple properties at once.
  • You will have direct experience of residential sales, ideally with refurbishment-to-sale exposure.
  • You will be a self-starter, commercially minded, and comfortable presenting recommendations clearly to a principal.

In Return

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a sizeable property portfolio in a single, senior role, with genuine breadth across residential, commercial, and short-let. The role offers real autonomy, direct access to the decision maker, and the scope to shape how the portfolio is managed going forward.
