Our client, a market leading services provider with an exceptional reputation, are currently experiencing an exciting period of growth and are seeking a talented and highly motivated Internal Business Development Manager (BDM) with a passion for managing inbound B2B sales enquiries, converting leads generated by marketing, and chasing up proposals to bring in new clients, to join their successful established team

Your job is to convert interest into action, close the deal, and guide the new client through the early stages of onboarding.

This role sits at the heart of the business — a bridge between Marketing and Client Services — and requires someone with both commercial sharpness and exceptional follow-up discipline.

Tenacious, highly dedicated and with a real flair for lead conversion, your responsibilities will include:

  • Respond to inbound B2B sales leads from marketing campaigns, website enquiries, and social channels.
  • Follow up on all open proposals and incomplete sales conversations with polite persistence.
  • Build rapport quickly with potential clients, uncover their needs, and close the sale.
  • Promote the business professionally through Linked In messaging and profile engagement.
  • Convert warm leads into paying clients by using closing questions, structured follow-up, and strong objection handling.
  • Maintain accurate notes, status updates, and pipeline visibility in our CRM system.
  • Work closely with Marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and with Client Services to ensure a smooth handover.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly new client acquisition targets.

You will have excellent negotiation skills and a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales or conversion targets in a sales or marketing background

You must also have a high level of commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate the drive and determination to be successful in this role

Salary £35,000 TO £40,000 and OTE £70,000
