Entertainment & Contingency Loss Adjuster – Home-Based (UK)

Sector: Film, Television, Music & Live Events

Location: Home-Based, with occasional travel to Westbury and London

About the OpportunityOur client is seeking a talented and experienced Loss Adjuster to join their well-established Entertainment & Contingency team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for the entertainment sector to work on a diverse range of claims across film, television, music, and live events.

The RoleReporting to the Director of Entertainment & Contingency, you will manage a varied portfolio of claims from initial investigation through to final settlement. This role offers flexibility with home-based working and occasional travel to the client’s offices in Westbury and London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, negotiate, and settle claims in a professional and efficient manner
  • Liaise effectively with insured parties, insurers, and brokers to ensure timely resolution of claims
  • Conduct on-site investigations and damage assessments
  • Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports in line with industry standards and internal guidelines
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the Entertainment & Contingency team
  • Identify and explore opportunities for client growth and service enhancement
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

About You

  • Experience in Entertainment & Contingency loss adjusting is essential
  • Progress towards or possession of relevant professional qualifications is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisational abilities and stakeholder management experience
  • A positive reputation within the broker and insurer market is a distinct advantage
  • Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
