An established and growing chartered surveyors and planning consultancy near Preston is looking to appoint a Chartered Town Planner to join and help drive its planning team. The practice acts for a broad client base, from private individuals to national companies, and has built a strong reputation across the Northwest for the quality of its advice. This is a role with real autonomy and a varied caseload, in a firm known as a friendly, supportive place with a genuine focus on work life balance and developing its people.
The role:
- Manage your own caseload of planning applications from submission through to determination
- Advise clients on development potential, planning risk and strategy
- Prepare and oversee planning statements, appeals and supporting documents
- Lead on site appraisals and represent clients with local planning authorities
- Support and mentor junior members of the planning team
