Our client, a very well respected Accountancy Firm, are seeking a driven and ambitious Accounts Senior to join their established and friendly team, during an exciting period of growth.
As Accounts Senior, you will provide accounts support and assistance to a portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors, and have regular contact with clients, often visiting client sites.
The ideal candidate will be technically strong, ideally ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified, with close attention to detail and have a can-do attitude to problem-solving. You should hold excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients quickly, always aiming to deliver customer service excellence. You should be a team player, able to support and develop strong relationships with your colleagues, and also a self-starter who is motivated and able to see projects through to completion promptly.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, reviewing and finalising accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparing, reviewing and finalising business and personal tax computations
- Completing personal and corporate tax returns
- Preparing, reviewing and finalising management accounts and cashflows
- Planning and implementation of technical changes to accounts
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with a diverse range of clients in different sectors and industries, managing statutory, client account audits and similar.
