- Building strong relationships with clients, brokers, and insurers.
- Setting accurate claim reserves and negotiating fair settlements.
- Instructing, monitoring, and managing claim-related experts (surveyors, lawyers, forensic specialists, etc.).
- Preparing detailed interim and final reports, providing pragmatic solutions to complex issues.
- Staying on top of technical, legal, and regulatory developments impacting claims.
- Ensuring all work complies with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
You’ll already have significant experience handling major and complex loss claims. You’re proactive, organised, and commercially aware, able to manage your workload independently and make confident decisions. Most importantly, you enjoy being the trusted expert, taking pride in delivering exceptional client service and clear, well-supported outcomes. ACILA, ACII, or other relevant professional qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
