This is a senior, strategic appointment reporting into the principal, with the remit to connect the dots across the group, set the marketing agenda for each brand, and build a high-performing in-house function.
The Role
- Set and own the marketing strategy across the brand portfolio, working closely with project leads to advise where investment should sit and what outcomes it should deliver.
- Build out an in-house team with the autonomy to shape the function as you see fit.
- Lead activity across paid, organic, content, brand, CRM, social, and partnerships.
- Provide marketing leadership on major upcoming projects, including pre-launch campaigns.
- Present each initiative as a commercial business case, with clarity on spend, return, and rationale.
About You
- You will be an inspiring marketing leader with a track record of building, developing, and retaining strong teams.
- You will have proven content credentials, with examples of work you can point to directly, and a demonstrable track record on social-led brand building.
- You will be data-driven without being a slave to dashboards, comfortable caveating and contextualising numbers with brand and commercial judgement.
- You will have operated across multiple consumer-facing brands at the same time.
- You will be commercially mature, comfortable presenting to a principal, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where each project stands on its own business case.
