The company is seeking an experienced Head of L&D to join their dynamic HR team. This is a pivotal role within a fast-paced, aggressively growing and fluid environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative training programmes that support the company's strategic goals and embed its values. In this role, you will strategically relationship manage and encourage interdepartmental collaboration at a senior leadership level. The appointee will be a key contributor to shaping organisational culture and developing the talent pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and execute learning strategies and programmes that align with the company's ambitious growth plans.
  • Evaluate individual and organisational development needs in a rapidly evolving business environment.
  • Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training).
  • Help shape and embed the organisational culture through facilitated employee sessions.
  • Support managers to develop their team members through development conversations and plans.
  • Design and deliver impactful training sessions, from executive leadership programmes to company-wide initiatives.
  • Manage budgets and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  • Produce reports for internal tracking and external accreditations.
  • Support Heads of Departments with Continuing Professional Development initiatives.
  • Work in partnership with Executive Directors and senior stakeholders to drive learning initiatives.
Key Projects
  • Shape and lead the Leadership Development Programme for Future Leaders and High Potentials.
  • Assess e-learning platforms with a view to potential consolidation.
  • Introduce and embed a mentoring programme.
  • Partner with industry bodies on qualification and learning interventions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience within a similar role with a track record of designing and delivering learning programmes at all levels.
  • Demonstrable passion for creating exceptional learning experiences.
  • Evidence of successfully working with senior leadership teams in corporate settings.
  • Experience of performing effective training needs analysis.
  • Track record of delivering training to diverse groups on various topics.
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methodologies.
  • Strong coaching and facilitation skills.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
  • Experience in project management and budgeting.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills at all levels.
  • Excellent communication abilities with the confidence to influence at senior levels.
  • Ability to work appropriately with high levels of confidentiality and sensitivity.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft packages and HR software/databases.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability and agility to navigate a rapidly changing business landscape.
Desirable
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification (highly advantageous).
  • Background spanning HR, Learning & Development and Organisational Development.
