Are you an experienced Motor Claims Handler looking for a role where your technical expertise and client focus will genuinely make a difference? We're working with a well-regarded brokerage to find a skilled claims professional to join their established Leeds-based team. This is a hands-on, full-time on-site role offering the chance to manage a varied portfolio of motor and transit claims from start to finish, working within a collaborative team committed to delivering an exceptional service to clients and insurers alike. Key Responsibilities Manage motor and transit claims end-to-end, ensuring service standards are consistently met and exceeded. Conduct desktop investigations into policy and legal liability to establish the correct outcome for clients. Attend site visits where required to support onsite investigations and insurer presentations. Maintain an efficient diary system, ensuring all claims are chased and progressed in a timely manner. Utilise and develop a full working knowledge of Acturis for claims processing and management. Provide broking teams and clients with accurate claims information and MI reports as required. Handle all claims in line with agreed SLAs, KPIs, and internal procedures. Acknowledge new claims promptly to clients and insurers, keeping all parties informed throughout. Meet with clients to present claims information and updates when required. Maintain and develop your CPD to keep technical knowledge and skills current. Undertake ad hoc duties as requested by management. What We're Looking For You'll be a confident and technically capable claims professional with a solid background in motor claims. You'll bring a strong commercial awareness, a methodical approach, and a genuine commitment to client service. Proven motor insurance claims handling experience, with a thorough understanding of claims procedures. Sound knowledge of current case law, common law, statutes, and relevant regulations. Strong investigation skills and attention to detail. Good understanding of insurance law and policy wording interpretation. Familiarity with Acturis is desirable, along with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. Working towards or holding Cert CII, Cert CILA, or equivalent qualification. Highly organised with excellent time management and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships. Committed to applying TCF and KYC principles in all client interactions.
