Job Responsibilities Ideally 4 sessions per week. Provide high quality, patient centred general medical services within a multidisciplinary primary care team. Undertake clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients, ensuring safe and effective decision‑making. Support continuity of care and contribute to positive patient outcomes. Work collaboratively with clinical and nonclinical colleagues to deliver services effectively. Contribute to quality improvement, service development, and innovation within the practice. Participate in clinical leadership and practice sustainability activities, where appropriate. Person Specification Essential Qualifications Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and a current licence to practise. Included on the NHS England GP Performers List (or eligible to apply). Demonstrates a commitment to high quality, patient centred care. Able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Good clinical decision‑making, communication, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to professional development, appraisal, and re‑validation. Ability to manage workload safely and effectively within a modern general practice environment. Shares the practice values of collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement. Desirable Qualifications Experience of working in UK general practice. Interest in or experience of quality improvement, audit, or service development. Familiarity with total triage or digital access systems (e.g. Anima). Interest in developing or maintaining a special clinical interest. Experience of or interest in teaching, mentoring, or supervision. For partnership applicants, an interest in clinical leadership, practice development, and long‑term sustainability. Willingness to contribute to the future direction and success of the practice.
