A very successful local organisation are seeking an Shipping Clerk to organise the delivery of client orders to worldwide destinations.
Some of your duties will include:

Co-ordinating the shipment of cargo by airfreight to worldwide destinations on behalf of clients

Liaising extensively with overseas clients, Agents, UK warehouses and airlines to co-ordinate shipments

Providing a delivery service that meets clients’ needs and that is cost effective and efficient

Negotiating with carriers in order to obtain the best possible transport costs on behalf of clients

Producing quotations for clients providing information on warehouse and transport costs

Issuing airway bills and export customs clearance documentation to accompany transports
