A very successful local organisation are seeking an Shipping Clerk to organise the delivery of client orders to worldwide destinations.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Co-ordinating the shipment of cargo by airfreight to worldwide destinations on behalf of clients

  • Liaising extensively with overseas clients, Agents, UK warehouses and airlines to co-ordinate shipments

  • Providing a delivery service that meets clients’ needs and that is cost effective and efficient

  • Negotiating with carriers in order to obtain the best possible transport costs on behalf of clients

  • Producing quotations for clients providing information on warehouse and transport costs

  • Issuing airway bills and export customs clearance documentation to accompany transports
