If you have a good knowledge of the benefit system then a local Charity could really use your expertise for this Service Advisor role, excellent prospects are available for the right person.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Registering new service users and providing information on services provided
  • Providing service users with information and advice on welfare services available
  • Advising on welfare benefits, community care, local services and health support
  • Liaising with service users face to face, over the telephone and by email
  • Advising, supporting and assisting service users on preparing emergency plans
  • Co-ordinating home visits for service users and completing relevant documentation
