Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a caring, adaptable, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant for High Needs Learners. Whether you're experienced in supporting learners with SEND or looking to develop your skills in this area, we welcome your application.
You'll be someone who:
- Is passionate about helping learners achieve their full potential.
- Can build positive relationships and communicate effectively with learners, staff, and support networks.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Is flexible and responsive to changing learner needs and college events.
- Maintains a discreet and professional approach, respecting the dignity and privacy of learners.
Experience supporting individuals with SEND is a bonus but not a requirement. We're committed to providing training and support to help you succeed in the role.
Please be aware the roles are fixed term until 31 August 2027 at which point they will be reviewed for the new academic year beginning 1 September 2027. Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
