The predicted salary is between 36590 - 36590 £ per year.

Full time, 37 hours per week (Fractional posts considered)

Location: The Stephen Burke Construction Academy, Swadlincote

Salary: Up to £36,590 pro rata

PLUS £4,500 'Golden Hello' staged over 3 years

PLUS Bursary up to £1,800 per year (qualification level dependent)

PLUS, up to £11,000 professional development bursary for formal education and training qualifications including:

  • Level 3-5 Education & Teaching
  • Level 3 TAQA Assessor Qualification
  • Level 4 TAQA Internal Quality Assurance Qualification
  • Level 4 HNC in Construction /Civil Engineering

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Plumbing Course Leader to join our thriving Construction department. In this role, you will take a lead in the delivery and coordination of our plumbing programmes, ensuring high-quality teaching and an excellent learner experience.

If you have strong industry experience in Plumbing or Electrical Installation, we'd welcome a conversation about how your expertise could help shape and inspire the next generation of Construction professionals.

As a valued member of our dynamic Construction team, you will bring up-to-date industry knowledge, a passion for your trade, and an engaging teaching approach that motivates learners from day one. There may also be opportunities to develop and deliver specialist industry-related courses as part of our continued growth.

You will hold relevant qualifications in your specialist subject. A teaching qualification is desirable; however, we are happy to support the right candidate who is willing to work towards one. Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
