The predicted salary is between 22000 - 29000 Β£ per year.

We are seeking a candidate who has experience of working with young people who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to provide wellbeing support and oversee the planning, implementation and engagement of tutorial activities. The successful applicant will work alongside the Additional Learning Support and Curriculum Teams reporting to the ALS Foundation Learning Team Leader. They will provide essential daily support such as attendance monitoring and record keeping, as well as attending EHCP review meetings and working with other professionals/multi-agency teams.

This is a brand new role and will require a person who is able to work as part of a team, use their own initiative and be able to develop plans to meet the specific needs of learners. They must be passionate and learner focused, able to effectively safeguard, and a background of working with post-16 learners and their families would be desirable, as would a driving licence with the potential of training to drive the College mini bus to assist with trips and visits. Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
