Who are we looking for? Working collaboratively with colleagues across the department, you will help support and maintain the College's diverse IT environment. You will work directly with end users, providing a professional, responsive, and customer focused support service across computing, display technologies, telephony, and printing services. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential, enabling you to deliver a consistently high standard of service. You will have hands-on experience installing and supporting IT technologies, diagnosing issues, and resolving faults efficiently in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
This role requires solid experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and modern web browsers, along with confidence supporting a range of hardware and mobile devices. Experience with Apple macOS and Windows Server environments would be an advantage. A valid UK driving licence is required, as the role involves providing onsite support at the College's remote locations.
Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
