HE Business Course Leader - Sustainable Business Part time, 29.6 hours per week Salary: £22,059 - £27,958, based on experience and qualifications Burton-on-Trent, Town Centre Campus Who are we looking for? We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable HE Business Lecturer to join our Higher Education team at Burton and South Derbyshire College. This is an exciting opportunity to teach across Levels 4, 5, and 6, with a specialist focus on Sustainable Business. As part of our dynamic HE provision, you will inspire and support students to develop the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in business, with an emphasis on sustainability, ethical practices, and future-focused strategies. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching on Sustainable Business modules at Levels 4-6. Develop innovative learning materials and assessments aligned with programme specifications and industry standards. Support students through tutorials, feedback, and academic guidance to ensure excellent outcomes. Contribute to curriculum development, embedding sustainability and employability skills throughout. Engage with quality assurance processes and maintain accurate records in line with College and awarding body requirements.Essential Criteria A degree in Business or a related discipline. Strong subject knowledge in sustainability and its application in business contexts. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a commitment to student success.Desirable Criteria A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
