Fabrication and Welding Course Leader Full Time - 37 hours per week£30,624- £36,590 per annum £4,500 “Golden Hello” (staged into three payments of £1,500 over 3 years)Burton on Trent, Town Centre Campus Who are we looking for?

Burton and South Derbyshire College have an exciting and expanding Fabrication Welding curriculum, aimed at matching learner’s skills to the needs of local, regional and national employers.

This requires a competent, up-to-date Fabrication Welding Tutor with commercial experience from industry, alongside an enthusiastic approach to teaching and engaging our learners.

You will teach, assess and monitor students engaged in Level 1, 2 3 programs, and support and facilitate student learning; liaising closely with the Curriculum Team Leader, Course Leaders and Management.

You will be responsible for the Level 2 Fabrication Welding programme, taking pride in learner progress and outcomes.

Desirable for this post are an Initial Teacher Training Qualification or the willingness to work towards one, and a minimum Level 3 Welding qualification, with recent and/or extensive industry experience.

You will also have the ability to design programme materials for the department to support the training and assessment within the department.
