Who are we looking for?
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Project Manager to lead our Empowering Futures initiative in South Derbyshire - a 9-month project supporting individuals who are currently NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). You will bring strong leadership and organisational skills, with experience of managing projects and reporting on outcomes. You will be confident developing partnerships with employers, colleges and community organisations and have a practical understanding of how to create pathways into education, training, and employment. Above all, you will be someone who thrives on helping young people realise their potential.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation and delivery of the Empowering Futures project, ensuring it meets objectives and delivers measurable outcomes.
- Manage project operations, including planning, monitoring progress against KPIs and overseeing budget requirements.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with a range of stakeholders to create meaningful opportunities for young people.
- Ensure the provision of high-quality support services, including skills development, career guidance, and progression into education, employment, or training.
Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
