Education Healthcare Plan and Consultation Administrator 37 hours a week, 40 weeks a year £21,654 per annum (£24,532 pro rata) Burton on Trent, Town Centre Campus Who are we looking for? Burton and South Derbyshire College is committed to providing exceptional support to learners with additional needs. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Education Healthcare Plan Assessor and Consultation Response Writer. This role is integral to ensuring that our education healthcare plans are effective and compliant with regulatory standards.  Key Responsibilities:  Assessment of Education Healthcare Plans: Conduct comprehensive assessments of education healthcare plans for learners with additional needs. Collaborate with the team leaders, the local authority SEND key workers, families, and the Inclusion Manager to gather detailed information for assessments. Prepare formal consultation responses, addressing feedback from stakeholders and ensuring alignment with organisational policies and objectives. Produce well-researched, articulate, and professional written communications. Work closely with the SEND and Inclusion Manager to ensure cohesive support for learners with additional needs. Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, parents, and advocacy groups. Participate in meetings and discussions to provide updates on assessments and consultation responses. Schedule annual reviews for education healthcare plans and coordinate with relevant parties. Complete official paperwork for these meetings and ensure timely submission to the local authority. Key skills and experience:  Proven experience in assessing education healthcare plans or similar roles. Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured documents. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
